a few weeks ago, we went to priscilla of boston, in wynnewood to check out some dresses for my lovely ladies. i would absolutely recommend this place. everyone that works there was so helpful and happy! they made our day so easy and fun!

i had found a few online that i absolutely loved (all of their dresses rock!) so kath, sam and chey put on a little fashion show for my sister, mom and i...we narrowed it down to 2 dresses. this past weekend we went back and made the final selection!

nantaka joy.

i read oh joy's blog everyday, she is such an inspiration to designers. last week she had a sale at her shop, nantaka joy, buy one get one free! i finally purchased my very first nantaka joy product!! the noted olive ombre notebook, 4.5” x 6.5” with scalloped edges and 72 lined pages.

it finally snowed a lot!!! it looked so pretty last night. pat went out to play and shovel for a little but i was stuck inside with a stomach bug :(

the lemon ball 2009.

i finally got a minute to post all of our photos from the lemon ball!! it was saturday, january 17th at the marriott downtown in philadelphia. loveleigh donated the design of all the printed materials, which included the invitations, tribute/auction books and all the signage for the evening.

we just recently learned that over $500,000 dollars was raised that night to help support alex's lemonade stand! so amazing, despite the state of the current economy. one of the most touching highlights of the night took place during the live auction when liz scott, alex's mother, auctioned a baker’s dozen of her famous lemon cookies. the winning bid of $13,000 was received with a standing ovation on the eve of what would have been alex’s 13th birthday. i am so glad we could be a part of this night.

sadness.

one of my most fave home decor magazines, Domino, just announced they are folding. the march issue will be the last. very sad.

i will be posting more pix but here is a a little taste of the evening :) it was a fabulous event! from the lemontinis to the $13,000 live auction bid on liz scott's (alex's mother) homemade cookies, everything was a success! i don't know the total amount raised just yet, but will post it as soon as i do!

well spun wedding films.

we are booking our videographer! i am so happy, we are using well spun wedding films. their work is so unique and personal. i love it! our friends, cheyenne & dave, used them and it was one of the most beautiful things i have ever seen. please watch by clicking here! i still get teary eyed :)
