tomorrow i will get to see this amazing family! the candeeeeeee's! i can't wait! lauren is my college roomate. we met freshman year in photography and then lived together for the rest of our college years. she is married to an amazing guy, brian. he is the best cook ever! i still think about the steak/avacado sandwiches he made for pat and i the last time we visited! their adorable little girl is ruby jane. she just turned 1 in may! i can't believe it. they used to live very close to us but then decided to make a huge move to black mountain, north carolina. they just moved into a new house in asheville and i cannot wait to see it. they also just opened a restaurant. yes they opened a restaurant. isn't that the coolest?? cucina 24, i am so excited to dine there! here are some pix! beautiful!

friday, july 18th we went to normandy farms for a beautiful wedding for two of the most wonderful people, laura and chuck! congrats guys!!!!!!!

the foodery at 10th & pine is the best place in the city to buy beer. you can create your own personal six pack! they have a huge selection of beers, anything from bud to chimay. we finally decided to stop in and create our own...can't wait to drink what we picked!

sunday funday.

i love sundays when there is no plan. pat and i spent the day walking around the city enjoying the beautiful weather (even though pat forced me to walk in the shade because he is so sensitive to the sunlight. he may have melted if we walked in the sun.)
