on friday i was reading the random people magazine on our lunch table and found a fun, new, cheap girly website! www.girlprops.com they have the best selection of awesomely gaudy accessories...at the lowest prices! i purchased the love pendant for $4.99 and the angel wing pendant for $6.99. ordered them on friday and they already arrived this morning!

these girls are my absolute fave on this season of america's best dance crew. they are ridiculous!!!!! last night's performance was by far the best one, but i can't find it!!!

yesterday was a pretty long day. worked until about 6pm and then had a wrap up dinner for the lemon ball so my night was finally coming to a close around 9:30pm when i was driving home along kelly drive. i was in a very content and mellow mood and was enjoying the curvy and scenic ride along the river back to the city. my ipod seemed to know exactly how i was feeling and was playing the best songs. this was a favorite that i haven't listened to in awhile. breathe me by sia. this song will never get old. ever.

congratulations to our friends brian & becky. they welcomed their new little one, sydney ellyse, into the world on february 11th. we are so happy for them and cannot wait to meet her!

yesterday my friend katie, author of the blog carlyn rose, and i had a fun afternoon of jewelry, food and wine! a friend of a friend invited us to a jewelry show by esty shop, swede bead designs (owner, danielle staszeski). she had so many fun and unique pieces, it was so hard to choose! her prices were fabulous too! here are some items from her etsy shop. the items i purchased are not shown but i will post some shots soon!

some beautiful and elegant type completed for tiffany & co. by jessica hische. the type is their signature font, sterling, designed by h&fj. she had originally created the type, valentine script, for the original direction before they switched over to sterling.

a few weeks ago, we went to priscilla of boston, in wynnewood to check out some dresses for my lovely ladies. i would absolutely recommend this place. everyone that works there was so helpful and happy! they made our day so easy and fun!

i had found a few online that i absolutely loved (all of their dresses rock!) so kath, sam and chey put on a little fashion show for my sister, mom and i...we narrowed it down to 2 dresses. this past weekend we went back and made the final selection!

i read oh joy's blog everyday, she is such an inspiration to designers. last week she had a sale at her shop, nantaka joy, buy one get one free! i finally purchased my very first nantaka joy product!! the noted olive ombre notebook, 4.5” x 6.5” with scalloped edges and 72 lined pages.
